Oakland-based AXIS Dance Company, now in its 25th year, specializes in physically integrated dance and choreography, utilizing performers with and without disabilities. On Sunday, I had a chance to catch them during their performance at Marines Memorial Theatre in San Francisco for the San Francisco International Arts Festival 2012. Their performances also featured a collaboration with UK-based dancer/choreographer Marc Brew. Both dance companies are a pleasure to watch.
