With a nod toward the Cockettes, the Thrillpeddlers brought a classical look to their song-and-dance performance at the Pumps and Circumstance outdoor festival on Sunday. "Pumps and Circumstance" was the theme title for this year's version of the annual Easter celebration put on by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a charitable/satirical order of queer nuns. The 2012 anniversary celebration took place in San Francisco's Dolores Park on a beautiful sunny day. "We've just proved that God does not hate gays," said one of the emcees at one point. "Look at this weather!"
